UC Assist is developed by UCSoft Engineering Applications Developers. It is a structural engineering design-aid application intended to assist qualified users with reinforced-concrete section calculations, reinforcement selection, engineering checks, drawings, and report preparation.
This Privacy Policy explains how UC Assist handles information when you use the application.
The app does not automatically collect:
Values entered into UC Assist—such as loads, dimensions, material properties, reinforcement choices, and detailing preferences—are used to perform the requested calculations and generate results.
These engineering inputs and results are processed locally on your device unless you deliberately export, save, print, or share a report or drawing.
UC Assist may store application settings and engineering preferences locally on your device, including units, commonly used material values, selected options, recent inputs, or report preferences. Local information remains on the device unless you choose to export or share it.
You can remove locally stored app data through the device application settings or by uninstalling UC Assist.
When you choose to create, save, print, or share a report, image, or DXF file, UC Assist may use the operating system's file picker, document storage, printing service, or sharing interface. The destination and recipient are selected by you.
Files that you export may contain engineering information that you entered into the app. You are responsible for reviewing the contents and choosing where those files are stored or sent.
If you contact us by email, your email address and the information you include in your message will be received by us and handled by the applicable email service providers. We use this information only to answer your inquiry, provide support, or communicate about UC Assist.
We do not sell contact information or use support emails for third-party advertising.
UC Assist displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
Google AdMob and related Google advertising services may automatically collect or receive certain information from your device, including device information, advertising identifiers, IP address, app interaction information, diagnostic data, and approximate location inferred from technical information.
This information may be used to deliver, limit, personalize, measure, and improve advertisements, detect fraud and abuse, and prepare advertising reports. The exact information processed may depend on your device, operating system, region, consent choices, Google settings, and the configuration of the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
Google processes this information according to its own privacy policies and advertising technologies. You can learn more at:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Where required, UC Assist may show a consent message before personalized advertising is used. Depending on your region and device, you may be able to manage ad personalization through that consent message, your Google account, or your device advertising settings.
UCSoft Engineering Applications Developers does not sell personal information collected through UC Assist.
UC Assist does not intentionally use a separate third-party analytics service for behavioral tracking. However, Google AdMob may process advertising performance, diagnostic, and interaction information as part of its advertising services.
UC Assist should request only permissions needed for features you choose to use, such as saving or sharing generated files. Permission availability and wording may vary by Android version and device manufacturer.
You can review or revoke app permissions at any time through your device settings. Some export or sharing features may not function if a required permission or system service is unavailable.
UC Assist does not require account creation, login, or registration to perform its core engineering calculations. Because the app does not provide a user account, there is no account profile stored by UC Assist that requires an account-deletion process.
UC Assist is designed to minimize data collection by performing its core calculations locally. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should avoid entering confidential project information unless it is necessary for your work and should protect exported files according to your organization's security procedures.
UC Assist is a design-aid tool. It does not replace the professional judgment, independent verification, or legal responsibility of a licensed structural engineer.
All inputs, assumptions, material properties, reinforcement selections, calculation results, drawings, and reports must be independently checked by the responsible engineer before being used for design, construction, approval, tendering, or contractual documentation.
UC Assist is intended for engineering education and professional use and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
UC Assist may open operating-system services or external applications at your request, such as an email client, file manager, print service, PDF viewer, or sharing application. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to UC Assist, applicable platform requirements, or legal obligations. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
